I LOVE working with cats! I shoot our cat sessions out of the clients' home. Cats usually don't enjoy travelling, so I come to you! This helps them feel more comfortable and at ease, making for a much more enjoyable session for everyone!
Rylee and Dobby were not only gorgeous, but super sweet and playful! I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with these two!
Puppy cake smash sessions are my FAVOURITE!
This is Skye.
Skye was chosen as a winner in one of our recent contests! The following was the entry from Skye's wonderful momma:
"I would like you to meet Skye! She is 13 years old. She has had a heart murmur for a few years and in December she started getting a cough. I took her to the vet on Wednesday. She now has advanced heart disease. Her heart is slowly failing her and she is dying. We are trying medications because she's not ready to give up and neither are we. This prize would be amazing before she leaves us. We have no recent pictures of her and I cannot put into words what this would mean to me and my family. Thank you for the opportunity!"
One of Skye's favourite activities -- CAR RIDES!

From Saylee's owner, Mia:
"Two years ago Saylee injured his spine. He stopped walking, eating and drinking. He was rushed to Guelph University the veterinarians suggested he have extremely expensive testing which would likely lead to exploratory surgery that could go either way or that I euthanize him. With his age it was decided that we would put down my best friend. He was prepped and literally seconds before I thought to ask her ... what if we wait and see?
I happen to know just a little about race horses and so I used what little knowledge I have to problem solve what could actually be wrong. Could it just be swelling and could I take my dog home now?!? She didn't recommended it and my partner begged me to just let it be over with but something told me wait and see.
We put him on strong pain meds and if in a day or two he was still that bad I was going to take him back in and end his life.
I brought my dog home by myself because my partner couldn't stand to see him like that. He actually called me while I was driving back and begged me to bring the dog back to the vet. I thought about it the whole way home.
Saylee was so happy when I carried him in the door, he laid in my lap with his tail wagging he couldn't move his back legs so I sat on the floor with him and just cried for a good long time, it brings me tears just to write about it. I will never forget that moment. We both knew I had saved him and he trusted me to make him better.
I called around and found a dog chiropractor, she was great. I picked her brain and did so much reading. I pushed my dog to eat and forced him to take meds; meds that later upset his stomach so I talked to other dogs best friends and learned that yogurt coats his stomach and makes it better.
I took him to the river because I knew hydrotherapy would help but couldn't afford to schedule him somewhere for the daily treatment I wanted him to have. He stayed in a crate that I had to buy and I had to carry his back end with a sling for a few days just to get out and pee and then right back in....then the magic.
Bit by bit he started healing, less pain meds, more food and he could walk. Then he could run, then no pain meds. Saylee now has an hour + walk/jog everyday and 98% of the time you can't tell anything is wrong. He does slow down on rainy days sometimes and a few times hes slipped in the snow or hallway and seems a little sore after but Saylee is mostly fine. And hes still here!"
When I heard this story, I contacted Mia and offered her a session for Saylee. I am so happy to have had the chance to meet this wonderful family, and we had a great time capturing Saylee's personality!
