Why did you choose 1105 Photography for your boudoir experience?
I chose 1105 Photography because from all the posts I've seen, it's a very sophisticated service and studio. The VIP community was very welcoming and has a ton of people in it. Some I knew, lots I don't. But it's filled with many people who have gone to and trusted Sarah over the years and that spoke well to me being able to trust her with my photos.
The tipping point was the birthday babes contest. It felt good to be "picked" and since turning 30, my birthdays have become more significant to me so the chance to celebrate what is left of my youthful body was great.
Were you nervous before your session?
Extremely. I was nervous before, during, and after lol. I am a very anxious person and I overthink a lot. Sarah did a great job to make me feel comfortable but I think being a little nervous keeps you humble and allows you to fully listen to the direction you're given.
What was your favourite part of your experience with 1105 Photography?
Weirdly enough, it's the feeling way after the session is done. I picked my photos out with Sarah and they were sent to me that night. I am very introverted so being able to look at them myself that very night, take my time with them was really cool. I am glad I purchased all of the digitals because I was able to really spent time getting to know me and appreciating myself during that time.
How did you feel after your session?
Sexy! Which is not feeling I typically use to describe myself.
What would you tell someone who is on the fence about booking with 1105 Photography?
Do it. YOLO. but seriously. Your body is only this way once. Every day you age, which is beautiful in and of itself but you will look back wishing you appreciated your body more then. I often think that I wish I knew what I had "pre-baby" with my body and was kinder to myself. I wish I had done these photos in my 20's. But now that I am 4 years post partum and I've worked hard to treat my body well and get into better shape, I'm glad I did it in my 30's. No regrets. If I can afford it (or convince my husband to start saving) I will be back in the studio some day.
